It's no doubt that Rihanna has solidified herself as one of the greatest Pop artists to ever live, could she be gunning to become the silver screen's most notorious leading lady as well?
Earlier today, film director Luc Besson went on Instagram to make a bold announcement that RiRi will be a part of his forthcoming Sci-Fi flick Valerian, And The City of A Thousand Planets. What made the news even more popcorn grabbing is him stating that the Barbados bred siren will have a "big" part. The movie will also include model-newly-turned-actress Cara Delevingne, Dane DeHaan and Golden Globe recipient Clive Owen.
The big budget thriller derives from Pierre Christin and Jean-Claude Mezieres' graphic novel which takes place in the 28th century where humans discover time travel. The main character Valerian, is a time traveling agent who is sent to investigate a galactic empire, alongside his partner Laureline.
No clue on when this baby will release in theaters but it will begin shooting January of 2016 in Besson’s mega-studio housed at the Cite du Cinema in Saint-Denis, on the outskirts of Paris.
Looking forward to it!
