Virgil Abloh is dominating 2017 with his wide-ranging ideas. The Off-White founder and designer’s latest conceptualized feat is in the form of shades, which are made in collaboration with affordable eyewear company Warby Parker.
Priced at $95, the wayfarer-inspired sunglasses are offered in three distinct sizes: “Small,” “Medium,” and “Large.” (Pardon the heavy usage of quotation marks but it’s all about aesthetics. Right?). They all feature classic curves, extra-thick acetate and zero base curve lenses with blue anti-reflective coatings on the inside. “I welcomed the idea of bringing a unique concept to life, one shape extended and compressed to express a different emotion within eyewear. I’m honored to work with such a progressive company like Warby Parker, who was able to help me fully realize my vision,” says Abloh.
